We all need nourishment for our body, good healthy food. What about our minds? The same is needed. Whatever we feed our minds produces the well being of our souls…..
In Society many rely upon crutches to help them through daily life, example: smoking which pollutes the body and causes many health issues. Drinking in excess also cause health issues. Drugs which has a devastating effect not only the person who takes the drug, but a flow on effect to all family members.
Within each of us is a power so strong , we all have the capacity to find it and use this power to overcome anything, that is stopping us from moving forward.
We all have a story to tell of sadness and sorrow. How we cope with these challenges determines our outcome in life. God is a universal creator for all mankind to receive. Open your heart to receive him . When problems come, sit reflect and solve. No point in reaching for that cigarette, drink or drug to deal with the problem, once you use one of these , the issue is still there . You also become dependent on these crutches.
When you feel powerless, reach out pray, give your problem to God, rest with him and the answers will come, you will feel a sense of enlightenment, pass through your body, and your mind will clear, knowing with certainty that God will never let you down or go. Even though you may feel you are falling off the edge of a cliff, there is a hand pulling you up, saying “You are not going anywhere, I’m right here pulling you back up and I will not let you go “.
Move out of the darkness into the light of God and change your life. There is a flicker it may be dim , but the light is still holding on to you.
Your mind is very powerful, infuse positive messages not negative. Draw light to your whole being. The more you reflect on the positive in your life, no matter how challenging at the time, your life can and will rebuild. Without challenges , our character would never develop, through hardship, adversity and pain, we draw upon our inner strengths to move forward in a positive way.
If we stand at the oceans edge, does the water move backward, no, it moves in a forward direction, so we also need to do that. Let go of what is past , leave it alone , move forward with positive thoughts and strength. You cannot change anything from the past, by sitting and thinking will only make you depressed. Instead stand on the waters edge with pebbles in your hand , each one representing the problem you have, then throw them into the ocean, releasing the pain and suffering. The problem is now released , a new day brings positive beginnings.
Prayer and focus on your inner being, will bring calm, light and fulfillment. Remove your mind from pain , bring peace and calmness, like the stillness of water, with the suns rays shining, like beams of light to your inner spirit. All humanity is one with nature and the creator God. His power and love is endless to all who go humbly before him in suffering.
You may ask how am I aware of this? I had burnout about 8 years ago, high profile job, position and money. I was swimming one day, then slowly I found myself becoming weak, I called the paramedics. My mind was in full force, but my body said no , you need to stop. The medical profession said if you don’t rest , you may place more pressure on yourself and have a prolonged life,of where you will find each day a challenge. No way was that going to happen to me, I thought. The paramedic said you are not a robot , do not behave like one.
I could not walk for four months. I prayed and read spiritual readings from the Bible everyday. I remember watching people jogging past my front gate and thinking I used to that and more. Now I’m powerless lying on my bed, no one to help me. All the people in my life who said they loved me walked away. When you are fit and prosperous everyone wants to know you. When you are down , they turn away.
So I turned to God, not only did he give me my legs again , but a force within me to battle any storm or challenge.God never left my side, empowering me everyday with his love and comfort.
So never give up hope , there is a creator waiting for you to turn to. God will never let you down , reach out your hand, his hand is waiting to grab yours.
